The past two weeks the dominate news story has been the situation in Egypt, but what has been left out is coverage of U.S. forces in Afghanistan. Too often the only time news coverage mentions anything regarding Afghanistan is when a violent action takes place, or something which requires the president to respond.It seems the brave men and women serving have been relegated to second tier status to other news events.
