On Saturday, Jared Lee Loughner in an apparent assassination attempt on U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona, opened fire seriously wounding her. Six others were killed, including a federal judge, and a nine year old girl, with a 14 others being wounded in the mayhem. The nation is still trying to come to grips with this tragic event in Arizona.
Civility is needed in all quarters after this tragic event and this incident should not be used to score some kind of political points, but our thoughts and prayers should be with the victims and their families during this time.
