Health Overhaul Is Drawing Close to Floor Debate

With the Senate Finance Committee set to approve its health care bill this week, Democrats are tantalizingly close to bringing legislation that would make sweeping changes in the nation’s health care system to the floor of both houses of Congress. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/04/health/policy/04health.html

No matter how close we get to a vote the fundamental questions remain; how do we pay for changes to the health care system? Neither side has answered that question adequately enough. When has any budget estimates that have been proposed by Congress or the executive branch ever came even close to being accurate? Remember if they are wrong then we the tax payers will be paying for it!
