Despite months of outward ambivalence about creatign a government health insurance plan, the Obama White House ahs launched a behind-the-scenes campaign to get devided Senate Democrats to take up some version of the idea for a fianl vote inthe coming weeks. http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-healthcare-obama5-2009oct05,0,4785377.storyThe one issue that has never been asked with regard to the public option is where does the funding come from and by how much to start the government public option? If the public option doesn’t work or more funding is needed where will the extra funding come from? These questions need to be asked before we vote on the dramatic change to the nation’s health care system.
