years now, many businesses and individuals in the United States have been relying on the power of government, rather than competition in the marketplace, to increase their wealth. Power politics and special interests groups have gotten us into the problem that we face and the recent debate over health care will take us the same way that we got into the financial calamity today. The American people need to start taking stock of what their political leaders are doing in their behalf and not look the other way. If we place our head in the sand we will regret our inaction.
